Hi my name is Rose (some of you may know me as Stacy but I prefer to go by Rose).  I absolutely love dogs, my own pups are my kids and the loves of my life. Every dog deserves to be loved and I promise to love all dogs, no matter the breed. Both of my pups are considered "pitbulls" and I have seen first-hand the misconstrued assumptions that people have about pitbulls. Ending the stigma against bully breeds is a passionate movement for me and I fully intend to support that movement with this business. 

I started becoming passionate about caring for dogs in 2017 when I adopted my first pup from the pound. I named her Josie, she was terrified of everything (likely stemmed from abuse from her previous owner). Part of the issue that exacerbated her anxiety was that she couldn't hear anything except very loud sounds; this only became apparent to me when I recognized the signs of hearing loss as I am partially deaf myself.  As you can imagine, new places and new things would be so scary if there were people around that could sneak up on you without being able to hear them or unpredictable kids around that have no sense of boundaries. Slowly but surely Josie started coming out of her shell and learning that some humans are nice and loving and have no intention of hurting her. Eventually she started opening up and expressing her happiness by howling. It is one of the cutest, most adorable sounds I have ever heard, hence the name Happy Howlz.

So why trust me with your precious family members? I genuinely care about your fur-babies. First of all, safety is my #1 priority for everyone involved. As you can see with my own pups, I have experience with high anxiety animals and have developed extraordinary patience and compassion for even the most difficult cases. As pets can be sensitive to changes, I try my best to keep the same routine, rules and commands that your pets are used to when you are home. In addition, I provide detailed reports and pictures of our time together. As a pet owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to trust someone else with your pets but I assure you they are in safe hands with Happy Howlz Pet Services.
